Location
Systems
Often referred to as longline systems. These are generally
a single circuit consisting of one cable or bus. They employ sophisticated
software and electronics that enables them to calculate the location
of the contact of a liquid to a sensor. This is normally expressed as
a distance from the panel in either feet or metres and relies on an
accurate map or drawing of the system to find the leak. These systems
are normally too expensive for the smaller applications but cannot be
rivalled if a large area such as a Computer room is to be covered. Sensing
devices are normally restricted to Sensing Cable and Probes.
TraceTek®
A cable and probe based location system that allows for coverage of
most area's within a commercial building. All devices are connected
to a single four-wire circuit for minimum cable infrastructure and ease
of cable routing. Locations are reported in either Feet, Metres or Zones
dependant on the set-up of the system making this a truly flexible system.
TTK
The first truly digital Water detection system, offering major benefits
over similar Analogue systems. Totally cable based detection allows
the monitoring of up to 180 15 Metre sensing cables across three circuits,
each capable of being individually named for ease of leak location.
This system is capable of handling and reporting 180 individual leaks
simultaneously unlike other Analogue location systems.
